I’m very excited to announce the launch of a new workshop called “O Mama, Yes YOU Can! A new day for motherhood”. Click here for more details of this workshop.
The workshop will debut at the Creative Groove Studio in Hoboken, NJ on Thursday June 18th from 8pm to 9.30pm.
The workshop is for mothers who know that they want to make a difference. Mothers who know there is something significant they are here to do but who don’t have clarity on what that “something” is. The goal of the workshop is for the mothers who attend to come away knowing how they want to make a difference, how they plan to be of service and with the first step in a plan of action to bring that dream to life.
The workshop was born from a blog posting I wrote after Barack Obama was elected President.
You can find the full posting here:
The essence of that posting was this:
<<<The election of Obama as President-Elect has made all African-American children believe that anything is possible for them in their lives. As mothers, I believe that the way we lead our lives should have the same impact on our children. We should never settle for anything less than extraordinary in our lives. We should be in relationships we are passionate about, careers that fulfil us and live lives that not only nourish our souls but that also give service to others who are less fortunate.>>>
I’m very excited to meet the mothers who choose to participate in this workshop. I will be taking the workshop to Chicago in July and then to other US cities over the course of the year.
The workshop is going to be the foundation for a book of the same name. The book will be a written form of the tools we use in the workshop and will also act as a “living big” journal to document your own “living big” journey. The women who take part in the workshops over the next few months will be profiled in the book as they go through the process of conceiving and then realizing their dreams. Hopefully no epidurals will be required in the birthing process!
Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you have about this workshop or to RSVP to attend the first workshop in Hoboken on June 18th.
